The last time I was at the kubota dealer I was told that the factory installed cab prevented you from attaching the backhoe, I was looking at a grand L40. They said kubota was possible coming out with a series 2 cab that would allow the backhoe to fit. Anyone know if this happened? and what percentage the cost increase is?

I don't know if they are going to change the cab or if they are going to move the backhoe back further from the tractor.
They have talked of it in the past meetings and will hopefully see something at the meeting later this month. ....
