tranny question for jd 4300 SyncReverser

could someone please advise me on trouble shooting a problem with my jd 4300?

I have a 2000 model with a syncReverser trans. 4 gears and 3 ranges; a,b,&c. in range c the tractor slows down and comes to a stop. the rpm's slow as well, (not a clutch slippage problem.) after an hour or so use it does not happen. it happens only in range c in 3rd and 4th gears. I have just recently changed the tranny fluid. there are 400 hrs on tractor. TP
