Anybody know the differences between the LA401 and the LA402 loader? The April 1999 B2710 product flier says it takes an LA401. The September 1999 B series flier says it takes the LA402! What gives?

Just happened to call my dealer about it again and low and behold the Kubota rep. was standing right there at the sales desk! He said the LA402 has a more user freindly (thought the old one was good)detatch system with better storage/off tractor stands. The books do not say that anywhere. ....

I've wondered about the difference between the LA401 and LA402 loaders myself. My B2710 has the LA401 loader and if they've been able to make one easier to removed and put back on the tractor, I don't know how they did it. Mine only takes about two and a half minutes. ....

I saw the two loaders side by side today, the top pull pin on the 401 points down and slightly forward to get to the little saftey clip. on the 402 it points about straight up so the little clip is at the top and slightly easir to get to. Oh yea, it has an LA402 sticker too! ....
