fresh rebuilt motor, new hydralic pump, needs back tires, 1972 410 i believe 2 wheel drive. is 6500 a good price?

I've seen some crappy supposedly "rebuilt" motors tat wre nothing more than one replaced crank bearing. What verification do they have that it has been "rebuilt" and to what degree? Same with the pump--is it new or rebuilt---big difference in price. Is the backhoe dedicated or is there a PTO (not that it makes a differnece--just curious)

well, dad knows the guy so hopefully he wouldnt screw us over, were going to go in half on it. ill have to get some pics. he just rattled all this off over the cellphone and wanted to find out if its a fair price. ill see if i can get pics tomorrow. ....

Adamc44; My neighbor had a 410 that got in bad shape. Some of the hydraulic parts are obsolete and it had enough other ailments tnat he parked it out back, I think he has since sold it to a junkyard. If I remember correctly they had some sort of rotary hydraulic swing cylinder on the boom that was a problem. ....
