My LT155 had been backfiring and had trouble starting so I replaced the spark plug and it worked fine for a few weeks, yesterday I tried to start the thing and it just cranked and cranked, never turned over. Is this the plug again or fuel filter? I'm at a loss.

Sounds likes a electrical problem. What color was the plug when you removed it? ....

It was black. The area around where the plug goes seemed to be blacker or dirtier than normal as well. ....

It could also be the coil. This happened to mine last year. ....
