I have been quoted $10800 for a BX1500 with 54mmm, fel and tiller. Is this a fair price? The dealers tell me the BX1500 is obsolete, should I be concerned?

Sounds about right all the way around. Obsolete? So is every other tractor model, if not today, tommorrow! No need to worry! ....

The BX1500 shares a lot of parts with other BX models and besides building a quality machine, Kubota stands behind their products. I'll echo Art's comment. Don't worry. If the BX1500 is the right tractor for you, get it! BTW, the package price you were quoted is very good. ....

=====
Here are some prices I got on the BX1500
Dealer a BX 1500 with 54'' mower $6050
Dealer b BX 1500 without mower $5700
Dealer C BX 1500 $5700 Tiller $1450 Front Blade $1350 Total $8500
Dealer D BX 1500 with 54" mower $6050 Tiller $1450Total $7500
Don't know what the FEL runs but it looks like it could be added and still come in with a total under $10800.
