retrofitting 72 blade to 300cx fel for 3520

I found a good, heavy-duty 72" blade for zero$$ that I want to weld quick-tatch JD brackets to mount on my 300cx FEL for my 3520. It is the perfect size and weight for my FEL. I have 2 questions: Should I weld one of the brackets with a 4" or 6" spacer so the blade is always angled, to help with snow removal and grading the gravel driveway? 2nd question: Should I weld adjustable shoes to the backside of the blade, or just weld permanent fixed shoes?

I did a similar project last year. Took my old 84" rear blade and made it a front snow plow that goes on the loaders quick attach.
I welded a bracket for adjustable skid shoes on the blade.
I also made my blade so it can trip/flip down and spring back if I hit something solid to help prevent damaging the loader.( I highly recommend this feature, because you WILL hit something solid). ....
