Hey guys, my dealer just gave me a trade in value of $4500 for my 1985 JD650 4x4 with 54 mmm mower and 67 FEL with 54" bucket. Machine has 655 hours and barely any scratches. This seems like a low number to me. Can anyone advise me on the price I should expect on this machine?
Thanks,
Jay

Jay,
I don't really know if that is a fair value, but I can tell you that you will always get more money if you sell the tractor on your own. Dealers want to profit from the trade just as they would a new piece of machinery. Try the local papers, or ebay. ....

I've been looking for a new CUT w/ MMM and FEL, and I just looked at a JD670 (which I believe in similar) that had similar hours, HSD and 60"MMM, asking price was $8850. FEL was NOT included, so I say delaer is way low, although I am usually more in touch with the orange tractors. Geographic location was SW Pa.
