Looking for some help:Looking at a Kioti 1714 Looks alot like the 1914 I think it would be a little older but other wise would be the same.It has 350 Hrs, a 60" belly mower that is broken, and no lift arms or center link for the 3 pt ( that I can find ) and a dead battery..The price: $3500.00.I would like to put a small loader on it and a box scraper, use it for landscaping our 3 acres. Any reply would be welcomed. Any info on price for front pump and the 3pt parts would help.. Thank you Very Much. John C.

John - I am not saying that anyone would stoop so low as to misrepresent a piece of used equipment for sale, but let me read between the lines as I see it. If the hardware for the 3 point is "lost', my guess is that the whole shooting match doesn't work, and the seller is trying to hide that fact from you. If the battery is "dead", my guess is that there is something major wrong with the machine that would become evident when it is started. Come on - if you were selling a machine for several thousand dollars, wouldn't you put a $30 battery in it to show prospective buyers how well it runs? I am sure the guy selling you this tractor would NEVER do anything dishonest, but unless the price is dirt cheap let HIM put the new battery in, and let HIM look around for where he misplaced the 3 point apparatus, then take the thing for a good test drive. Any lawyers out there who think this is slander, all of the above is simply my opinion based on absolutely no fact (just experience)

Hi John. I agree with Paul. I don't know anything about Kioti tractors but I have purchased several used machines in my time. I'm sure you have your reasons for looking at this deal. If it were me, I would be looking for a better deal.! ....

PaulB, as far as I can see, you called this one just right. Boy oh Boy! I sure do wish you were here last time I had a bad case of "gotta buy it". The truth is that this tractor wouldn't be any better than an average deal if it had all the parts, clean as could be, and was working flawlessly. John, you can find this kind of deal anyday. Look on. ....

Thanks for the reply:
I thought I was running out of room to post a msg. and I don't think I was as clear as I should have been.
1. The battery is dead but we did jump start it and took it for a drive, drove good, no noise, or bad sounds, and it started rite up..
2. He said he bought it from the State Parks Dept.. it is set up with a Belly Mower, I think it had the links from the upper arms but not the center link or the lower lifting arms. My buddy and myself stood on the upper arme 500 lbs + and it did lift us with no problem. (not a good test I know but they did work).

I agree the deal is on the boarder, I guess thats why I was looking for any input.
Gonna think on this one a bit longer,,

Thanks Again

I'm also looking at a Kioti (1914). Because I've never heard of them before, I'm wondering how these units are and if $9,000 is a decent price for a '99 with a bucket loader and big ag tires (70.2 Hrs). I've checked out the KIOTI site, but was wondering what others thought.

Thanks,

Jeff ....
