I presently own a L2900 and like the tractor. I plow alot of snow for the elderly neighbors in the winter and want a cab so I don't freeze anymore. I looked at cabs and was disappointed with the fit. Then my wife says why don't we look at a new tractor with a factory cab. (What a gal)I am looking at a B3030 and a L3430. This time we are going to get a mower deck as we cut over 8 acres of grass. My wife would like the B3030 as it is smaller and she thinks eaiser to handle. I worry that I won't like it because it is smaller then my L2900 in size. Thanks for the feed back. I should say I am sorry I didn't get the mower deck when I bought my L2900. L2900 only has 255 hours and is 7 years old. Thanks for the help.

Drive the B3030, when they are available. See if you can get comfortable with a smaller frame. They are really nice tractors with a lot of new features.

Better let the wife drive it to. It's her tractor. ....

They area near the B-27-2910 and 7800 size. Most all attachments would be the same just that you would have less weight for loader work or blade to push with. A blower doesn't need the extra weight. ....

I should clarify my statement as to all attachments are the same. The largest mower deck mid-mount is a 72" and the loader bucket width would also be the same although the L-series has more weight to push and handle a larger capacity. Backhoe depths are the same as well as most rear mounted attachments can be the same with the less weight of the B-series I'd recommend some caution on the width if possible for ground engagement tools. ....
