Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, especially all of you that have helped with various Off Topic items, like the Youth Christmas Gun that you helped with. Here's the latest item...I hooked up an outer loop to a Lionel layout last night, hoping to have two trains on the track, but realizing I can only run one at a time. No matter which way I have the switches (inner or outer loop), BOTH trains want to run. What the H&!! am I doing wrong?

You are energizing both sets of tracks, try an additional switch so that only one track is energized or best use an additional transformer for the outer track! ....

I called Lionel, and they told me can't be done...I guess I am used to the old American Flyer 2 rail system, and that worked fine. ....
