Hello, I'm currently looking to purchase a JD4200 with the 420 loader and was wondering if anyone out there has added an extra hydraulic outlet to the rear of their tractor? My dealer gave me a price of $125.00 for the parts, and $250.00 for the labor to install. I'm curious if this is a good price? Thanks,

Excellent price on the hardware. You could probably install it yourself. ....

Don't you also need the power beyond kit when you install the rear spool? I know they serve two seperate functions and are independant of each other, but I think you need the PB when you install rear kit.Might not hurt to check anyway. Chris ....

I installed the extra control valve on my JD 4300. If you have a loader and the mid mount mower the third control valve is required. I didn't price the control valve separately when I ordered the tractor. The valve could be used for other functions as well. I think it is a useful option. ....
