Art, you can probably answer this one. Can one install 12.4 x 24 or the next size up on a 3830? I know that sometimes bigger is better however I really want to get a tractor width less than 66.5 inches. I like the HP of the 3830 given the frame size.

Other then the obvious that the fronts would also need to be changed I don't think you will get what you want. I waded thru the snow this morning it is knee deep but with checking our assembled tractors I found that you can't do it easily. With the Ags in there narrowest setting that's what they are for width. The only work that the difference mightbe noticed from the L-3430 is PTO work other then on a side hill and then it would be for the stability of the width. ....
