I got a quote on a Kubota L3000DT w/ FEL for $14,350. Does this sound like a good deal?

I looked at that tractor and decided to move up to the 3010 for a tad more (15,0000 and some change). But your price sounds like the ones quoted in Northern Virgnia. But if you can get the 3010 for $15,000-$15,500, it is a lot bigger and has more features. ....

Your price on the L3000DT sounds about right to me. If you are getting ag tires then I think the price should come down to $14,000. Most John Deere dealers are selling their 790 (comparable machine) for $13,999 with loader and ag tires. Expect to pay more for turfs and even more for R4's.

OK, while I'm at it, I'll mention that I compared the L3000DT, JD790, and NH TC30. I bought the New Holland TC30 because I could opt for HYDRO (I did). Compared to the others the NH TC30 has a wide-open, roomy, operator area. I paid $15,100 for 4x4, turfs, hydro, loader. You could come down to about $14,000 with gear drive. Drive all three and you'll see what you like best.

Thanks for the info. Other than the trans. what else would the 3010 get me. I tried to get the specs. from the kubota website, but they didn't include them all. such as 3ph lifting capability and loader specs. The dealer is really pushing this model for my use, so either he wants to sell this for some reason, or he thinks it would be the best tractor for me. ....
