I have been in the market for a Kubota or New Holland Tractor for some time. The local dealer sells both, but we were not able to get together on a price. I have old 8N that he would give me anything for, so I would have to sell it outright. I now have an excellent opportunity to trade my 8N for a L3010. The only problem is that the L3010 is a standard transmission and I really want hydro or glide. I can not pass up the deal the guy is giving me for the 8n, so I am wondering what I can expect ( or what would be fair) when I go to trade this 3010 for a hydro. This 3010 was purchased new last year and only has 36 hours on it. It has a standard transmission, ag tires, and folding rops. Any help would be greatly appreciated, so I can have a figure in mind before visiting the local dealer. I live in rural Indiana.

Just another twist to this other than the price difference, see how much a dealer will allow you for resale on that tractor just by the description. You might find that the lower price might not be quite enough of a discount as the straight gear drives are not the best sellers in a lot of the country. ....
