Whats everyone's 950 diesel's rpms at idle? Mine seems to hunt between about 600 and 900 but if I bump the throttle up a little bit it will run steady and purr along at 1000rpms exactly and never miss a beat. Get lower then that on the throtttle and it hunts. Do I have an injector problem starting or does the 950 idle at 1000rpms?

I would say it is an injection pump problem. I wouldn't worry to much about it unless it gets worse. If you still have all the horsepowwer you need than run it. It could be a fuel delivery problem and a simple fuel filter might remedy it but I would assume you have changed that already. ....
