just got brand new 790 with loader and bush hog. Love it.Quick question. How high or low should the ballast box be set on? Does it stress the hydraulic system to leave it in mid-range when using it or when parking it? Currently I have it locked/set in high position.thanks

Charles,I think you will really enjoy the new tractor. I had a 770 and
the 970 is just a larger verson.I've had it for 7yrs. and "really" used it
without a single problem.
You should operate with the ballest box as low as you can without drag
ing it.Carring it hi means the center of gravity is hi.It won't hurt the
tractor at any height.When I park it I let it down to take the weight off
of the tractor.Just my 2 cents. Ken ....
