I have had a JD 790 for almost a year now and could'nt be any happier with it. I have heard that folks are switching tires to gain a little extra width and was curious if anyone had done this on a 790. I looked at it the other day and it did not look like I would gain anything (I did not measure though). Any information on this would sure be appreciated.Thanks,Mark

Mark: I'm not sure about the 790 but I'm guessing it is the same set up as the 970, you should have several choices in tire settings which should be explained towards the back of your manual. Bud. ....

On the 790, the front wheels are 2 position, but the rear wheels are only one position. ....
