Does anyone know of a sealed version of the battery used by JD on their X series large garden tractors. I don't like to have to pull the hood just to check the water level.

I had the same problem trying to find compatible gel battery. I ended up just going to the autoparts and found one that would work. It was a bit larger than the tray but I made it work. By the time I got around to making my choice the old battery's acid did a fine job ruining all the pretty metal and paint. ....
