I have recently purchased a 790 and am looking for a rear blade or box scraper for same.....can I use a 6' blade or is 5' maximum for this tractor???

Box scrapers take more traction than blades, especially when the scarifiers are used. Generally, a tractor can manage a longer blade than a box scraper. I run a 6' box scraper on my 24 PTO HP tractor that has turf tires. I am traction challenged, mostly when using the scarifiers, but the traction problem is manageable. I like the longer blade because it's better for side grading and it gives some blade outside the rear wheels. ....
