My FWD lever on my Yanmar 2210 just flops, won’t go into 4WD. I am guessing something broke inside. Question is do I have to split the tractor or is there a different way of fixing this. Thanks

On Yanmar tractors a floppy 4WD lever usually indicates a problem with the linkage, like a break . Doubt breaking trans is required. Posssible connection pin is sheered.
Look also at the roll pin which connects the lever to the internal shaft. To get access you need to remove the shifter assembly from the side of the trans case.
