symptoms of clogged fuel filter

My gator runs up to about 18 mph and then with accelerator on the floor, it slows down to about 5 mph. Acts like it is not getting enough gas or air. The air filter is new, and the gas filter is free of restriction? Anyone have any ideas what the problem is or has anyone experience this problem? My email address is jkmoye at hotmail dot com.
