my 6x4 gator gasburner purchased new 1997 started giving me problems about 6 mos ago. the battery was running down while the engine was running with no warning light. bought new battery and problem continued. I could only operate for the life of battery charge. battery would die overnight as well. I began disconnecting at the end of day and connecting charger to it in order to operate at all. I tried to locate some sort of charging system but no luck. throughout the ordeal the charge warning light has failed to illuminate but it tests good.

I would look into getting a new Voltage Regulator, you can them on Ebay for $70 . ....
