My gator is supposed to start with the gas pedal but has been changed to where it starts with the key. The only problem is that you have to start it in gear and to stop in a hurry you have to cut the key off and hit the brakes. Does anyone know how i can get a diagram to fix this back to original

Normally, the "pedal start" operates by the action of a button/switch on the firewall. When the pedal is depressed, the switch is released which energizes the starter/generator. I wonder if this switch has merely been overridden or "shorted out" so that the starter is energized whenever the key switch is turned on.
Have you checked to see if the switch I describe is still there? If so, is it connected? ....
