I keep breaking the fuel filter bracket due to, I assume, excessive vibration. I have removed and welded the original bracket twice so far and the new bracket that I purchased twice as well. I didn't have any problems until I reached the ~900 hour mark. When the bracket breaks it disconnects the fuel lines and leaks diesel all over the moter mount directly under the fuel filter, which after awhile breaks the rubber down on the moter mount and has to be replaced. The bracket is attached to the block with two bolts via the fuel shutoff solenoid bracket and it also has the throttle cable attached to it. The bracket also has an additional bolt hole for a support bracket that looks like it could be attached to the same place that the dip stick is bolted down(I assume). My question is do I need to add an additional support or do I have a possible engine proplem that may need to be check out? Any insight would be appreciated.
