I have a New Holland TC33D with the super steer & 4WD option which now has about 65 hours on it. For the last 5 hours I have intermittent noises coming from the front wheel drive 'Auto' and 'Manual' selection gearbox. This gear box sits just behind the front axle. The noise is a very harsh skreching noise when moving ahead or backward. This noise would disappear after about 5 minutes of use. Today I was usiing it to pull a trailer load of wood and this noise would come and go at slow speed and it would do the same at road speed(this problem does not seem to be load sensitive). This noise is like a bearing running dry of oil. Oil level is okay. I have talked to the dealer and he is going pick up the tractor to check it out. Has anyone else experienced this and how was it fixed? Hans
