Currently have a 2wd 3910 ford app 50 hp. Am considering switching to a compact 4wd w/loader and industrial tires in the 25-30hp range. All major brands seem similar in capabilities. Want something that can do everything the Ford can do + mow and be trailerable. Got app 60 acres to maintain. Moderately hilly and 2- 1/4 mile long driveways to grade. Anyone sized down and been happy?

I have not "sized down" but I bought the smallest tractor I could. A Deere 4100. Through buying this I have learned two things:1. The power these compacts have is amazing. I have a 5' finishing mower and it crawls up a 20% or so slope without even bogging the engine down with the mower going. 2. Brand really does not matter. All of the tractors are made well. The important part is your dealer and their service. ....
