I think I need a hoe attachment for my B7100. My local dealer has a used 7 1/2 foot one for $5600. I think that's a bit steep and maybe a bit long, but he assures me it would work. Any thoughts or experience? I'm in western Montana. Thanks

You are correct, that hoe is a to large for your tractor. A 6.5 ft hoe is the right size. Kubota does not even recommend a 7.5 ft hoe for the B1700-B2400 and they are bigger than your B7100. The price he is asking is real steep as well, I was quoted $5800-$5900 for new 7.5 ft hoes incl PTO pump. You should be able to get a new 6.5 ft hoe for less than $5500 including the PTO pump setup. I would recommend you do not go back to that dealer since he is trying to overcharge and sell you the wrong equipment. ....

I agree with this. It sounds like a bad deal all around. Hope you findsomeone else to buy from. ....

i agree, i think the dealer your going to is just trying to sucker you in to buying it so he can get rid of it. ....
