Hi, just bought a L245dt that just had its drivetrain overhauled. I ran it for an hour or so and the steering started acting up. It would make a single "snap" feeling once or twice and then the steering wheel freely spun with no effect on the front axle. I figured I was screwed and that the steering box was shot but then I drove it forward 4 feet and the steering returned. It would feel like it was binding up and wouldn't turn properly and then it would behave it self. I found that the housing that bolts to the housing that the steering column goes through was not tightly bolted down. I tightened those bolts and drove a few figure 8's and it seemed to work OK. I then tried it again to day and the whole problen started up again. Any ideas? Loose key? loose gear? shot steering box?Andy
