MarkActually it's a Ford 1300 with a model 770 loader. I just bought a 1500 4wd with the 770 loader for 6500 and am very happy. Is this 1300 4wd? I know I would not be able to do the work I am doing with the loader if the 1500 were only 2wd...but then I am asking it to do quite a bit :-) What kind of work do you plan on doing with this tractor?Kim ....

MarkI just reread the title of your post and I see that it is indeed 4x4. I think the price is in the right ball park. The 1300, 1500 series were built prior to '83 when they were replaced by the 1310 and 1510 which were 3 cylinder diesels, in the same tin...of approximately the same horsepower as the 2 cylinder models. I am pretty sure they were built by Shibarau. One negative, if you are planning on doing brush-hogging or mowing or haying the pto is clutch type, not live, so it is a bit of an inconvenience for this type of work....you just have to be more careful about engaging gears. Best to get the overriding clutch on the pto shaft itself. One nice plus is the 12 forward and 4 reverse speeds.Good LuckKim ....
