I am considering purchasing a New Holland TC29S What are they selling for across the US? What is Dealer Cost?

What about the prices on New Holland Front Loaders?

I just bought a TC29S with a 7308 loader, a 60" shredder, a 60" box blade, FWD, folding ROPS, deluxe 3 PT and R4 tires for $15955. ....

That's unbeleivable!I assume no super steer for that price...?Does it have pwr steering?I had a quote on a similar package:TC29D (I think D stands for FWD)pwr steeringsuper steer ($1000 option)FWDfolding ROPsdeluxe hitchtotal $15,245loader $3,100for a total of $18,345now that is sticker. I haven't talked him down any. so w/o super steer, it's $17,345, but still you had shreader and box blade. I've never priced them, but those two items could cost close to a $1000. I live in Northeast Ohio. What part of the country was this deal? ....

Dave,The D stands for deluxe... it includes the hydrostatic transmission and some other creature comforts. Personally, I am quite happy with the standard transmission and I don't need the creature comforts. My dealer told me the D model was about $3K more. The supersteer is also extra. Take a hard look at those options because I can tell you that the TC29S is one hell of a tractor without them!

I had one gentleman to e-mail me and say that the Dealer cost on the TC29S is $10,100 and the tires are $710.00 bringing total cost to $10,810 before shipping costs. I hope to purchase my TC29S tomorrow and I will post what I ended up having to spend. Meanwhile keep the posts comming in ....

There is a place called Ritchie Tractor Company in TN (I think) that advertises NH compacts for $300 over dealer cost (whether that is invoice or invoice minus a holdback, I don't know). You might want to get a quote. I have never tried them. If I remember correctly the URL is something like ritchietractor.com. ....
