Does anyone have experience with a NH backhoe attachment for a TC. I stopped by my NH dealer this weekend but he was closed. I did take time to look at a TC33D with loader and backhoe. The attachment looks really nice, but it looks like the mounting bracket reduces the groud clearance substantially, even when the backhoe is removed. Is this a problem, and if so is there any other brand that does not have this problem but still allows easy disconnect?

I have a TC25D with the backhoe. I just got it a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had any clearance problems yet. I have used the it on my place and a neighbors to remove stumps and have had no clearance problems. Deere uses a similar mounting setup and has similar clearance. Overall, I'm very pleased with the backhoe and I'm willing to deal with the clearance problem (none so far) in order to have a solid mount, yet quick disconnect. ....

i was just curious as to how large the stumps were that you were removing...i have been comparing all the different brands of tractors and have decided onJD or Kubota...whomever provides the most bang for the buck..the NH's were just too loud for me however i have been debating over a 25hp (19 @pto) or going for the 30hp (25@pto) and since removing stumps will be one of the duties yourTC could provide some insight as to the horsepower requirements i should be looking at any reply would be helpful Rich ....
