what rpm does your tractor idle at? Mine is about 1100 rpm, seems high compared to my cat 416 back hoe.

My 7800 idle is set right around 1100 rpms. Has been since the day of delivery. I never questioned it, if you are interested, the performance curve for the engine is available at Kubotaengines website. ....
