After reading many other posts and gathering lots of information over the winter, I have decided to purchase either a Kubota 7800 or a 7510 HSD. I am leaning toward the 7510 as it seems it will do everything I need, plus more (and with the money I am not spending on a tractor I have more to spend on implements). What I have been quoted thus far is a 7510 HSD with 302 loader for $12,700 (tractor $9900, loader $2800) and a 7800 with 402 loader for $15,500 (I don't have the breakdown of the tractor and loader handy). The dealer who gave me these prices said that due to the increase in the price of steel, I can expect the price to go up if I have to order a tractor -- he has 1 7510 HST at this price, and 2 or 3 7800s.

In people's opinion, is this a good, fair price?

Certainly a fair price in my neck of the woods. B7800-f, with FEL and loaded R-4's, $15,900 in 2003. Good Luck ....
