Currently have kubota LA350 FEL. I want to use existing hydraulics for the backhoe. I have been told that the green color banded quick disconnect off the FEL is where I need to connect my backhoe hoses. Does this make sense? which end is pressurized? and which end would be the return? This is probably very obvious but I am not too familiar with hydraulics and would really appreciate help.

I'm not sure about your color codes, however, depending on the FEL's control valve that you presently have, you potentially have two ports waiting to be tapped here, one out and one return. By utilizing these ports, your not changing lines, or having any other implement potentially suffer non usability from being disconnected. These ports will be embossed on the control valve casting with the letters "PB", which stand for Power Beyond.

You need to know if the green coded hose is the power-beyond line from the loader valve. If so and assuming that the loader valve is power-beyond rated, the connection would be the loader valve quick-connect to the hoe inlet (pressure) line and the hoe return hose to the line disconnected from the loader valve. The connection would be reversed if the green coded hose is the loader valve inlet hose. I'd make certain because connecting a hoe backwards can ruin a bunch of stuff. If the hoe hoses aren't coded, the hoe valve should have an 'IN' or 'P' stamped on the valve casing near one of the ports to identify the inlet port.

I run my hoe from a valve controlled rear outlet that's the third valve on my loader valve, so that's a possible connection as well.
