What is a fair price for a Kubota L245DT with 2100 hrs. in pretty good condition with a front loader and rototiller?
What parts might be unavailable to repair this 1979 tractor?

Jeff those older models will still bring 4000 to 4500 for what you are telling us. The hardest things to get as tractors get older is the sheet metal. This is tough as a dealer or for you to sell used tractors as every used piece of equipment is going to be new to someone! When it is available the metal is often expensive. The base chassis is normally always repairable. The manufacture's will delete parts out of there systems as the call for parts decline to the point that they don't sell them for a couple of years. That means that the potential axle housing failure from a tree falling on your thirty year old tractor might leave you down till you can find a used one.. That doesn't mean that they are not building it for resale just that it might be a 2000 dollar part for a 4000 dollar tractor. ....
