Can anyone tell me (or tell me where to locate) the performance specs for a 1983 Kubota 355 4 wd tractor with shuttle-shift and heavy duty loader?
I'm teetering on the fence about buying this machine. Has 1540 total hours. Tires are 50% or less and cracking. Paint is very faded and there is superficial rust here and there-- most nuts and bolt heads , hydraulic fittings, etc. have surface rust but do NOT show signs of 'wrenching'. Sheet metal is above average. Tractor is completely free of any kind of leaks. Loader pins and bushings seem tight. 72" bucket without signs of abuse.
Starts easily and runs smooth. Asking price is $8,200.00 (plus $500.00 for the 'guv'). Free delivery. NO warranty.
Is this a poor deal a great deal or average? (assuming there are no surprises)
Any advice/comments/criticisms would be appreciated.

The tractor has 29 pto horsepower and sounds to be in average condition for one in that vintage. The book value for the northeast is higher than what you are paying so my thoughts are it's a good deal for you. ....
