Just bought a 7500 with 60" belly mower. Started looking over manuals and saw where the mower manual appears to require the rear wheels to be adjusted to the widest position. I've got the bar tires on the rear and the wheels are definitely not adjusted as wide as possible. There is one axle through hole showing on the outside of each rim and one through hole showing on the inside of each rim. I want to be sure the wheels are as wide as possible for stability and also want to be in compliance with the mower requirement. Anybody got the definitive answer on this? For those interested in price I paid $12K for this combo. Thanks in advance.

The manual is a good guide and I hate to take away from it but if the room is there and no interference between the deck and tires there is no reason to not widen out the rear tread setting on your tractor. After you move the tires out raise and lower the deck and make sure that the wheels will not hit the deck or gauge wheels and MOW-ON! ....
