The number is located on the left hand side of the tractor. It will start with the model and then go into the serial number. With most tractors the actual age isn't as much to be concerned with as the standard features and the condition. The tractor's have been improving with every model and some of the older models don't even often power steering as much as they offer a loader. There are some things to look at on some makes which the serial numbers will help, in which they had changes in them after the initial run and they didn't change the model before making the updates and did not install them in all tractors. ....
