I am looking at a L2600DT, Has Kabota FEL and 4690 backhoe.
Appears in good shape with 520hrs. Approx 2000-2001 Tires are fair.

Firm Price is 15,000.. is this a OK, good, or great price for this unit.

Part of finding a good price for a used tractor and it's value is to price new. I'd look at the price of the L-2800 as well as the L-3400 if you want a little larger engine as well as a better PTO system and better frame system supporting the backhoe. New normally comes with low rate financing options so some times there is a benefit to buy new. ....

Thanks,

The 2800 with the loader and 4690 backhoe attachment seems to be out of my range from the dealers locally.

Were there specific problems with the 2600DT I should look out for or take a closer inspection? The backhoe alone is pretty pricey! so 15k seemed reasonable. ....

Kubota has always built a top product without quality control problems or design flaws that haunt them within 90 days of a release of a new product. The L-2600 offers less options for the operators then the new models. I prefer the BH75 on the L-2800 do to the way it connects to the tractor for rigidity. ....

Thanks Art, your feedback has been appreciated,

I have 10 acres of rocky desert, will never need a mower and the backhoe will be the primary function of the machine.
I will do some more research as the heavier machines might be the best prospect for rocky work.
There are some B-35s in that price range if I can find one in good shape. Any opinion on the 35s ? ....

The L-35 is a great unit and is often a bargin. If you do have rocks then the larger heavier unit will do it easier and in less time. ....
