Hi,
I'm not a member here, but think I will be! Finally found a site like this, it's great.
I'm looking at a purchase on a 1989 L1 series, 3250 4WD, with approx. 1800 hrs and includes several implements including backhoe, frontend load, box blade. The price listed seems overpriced for an '89, so I thought I'd ask your opinion of value.
Please help!

This tractor from the attachemnts might have been used by a commercial landscaper although the hours are low. They normally say about 350 a year is average. To replace it today would be in excess of thirty thousand and I'd have to say the value of it would be bouncing close to the 20,000 mark depending on total condition. The tractor has 40 engine and 32 PTO horsepower with draft control as standard equipment on the three point hitch. ....

Thanks for your input. It was used on a small, private farm. Now knowing an avg hours per year helps! Some of the equipment would be nice to have, but not necessary for the $ and expense to have it sitting there and only use some of the implements once, maybe twice, per year. Your reply was greatly appreciated. Already told a dear friend of this site, sure he will join in. Thank you! ....
