Had anyone installed rear hydraulic ports (for a wood splitter) on their 3054?

I just landed a deal on a nice three-point hitch four foot splitter and want to use the tractor to power it.

Thanks!

Joe S.

There's lot of discussion in the archives--mostly about the speed of splitters driven from tractor hydraulics. If the tractor has a loader and the splitter has it's own control valve, the splitter lines could be installed in the loader valve's power-beyond line (an assumption is that the loader valve is PB rated). A short hose has to be available to splice the PB line back together when the splitter isn't mounted. Many manufacturers supply PB kits for that purpose, although back-hoes are the more common application. ....
