Go BottomJD 2030 backhoe attatchment

We have purchased a JD 2030 lovingly maintained, and in fantastic shape, however we want to find a cab, and backhoe attatchment. obviously dealers wont carry stock like this for a 30 year old tractor, does anyone know the best place to begin a search for these items, we are in NH.

Les: probably the Curtis Cab Co. is the best place to start for a cab, I'm sure they have a website somewhere. Far sa a backhoe I doubt anyone makes a frame mount unit, but The Woods Co., Land Pride and several others make 3 pt. hitch hoes. Is your 2030 a utility type ot row crop tractor? In some cases a cab and a hoe attachment might not be compatable for clearance resons, I hope others on the board can help me out there. Best of luck. Frank. ....

The frame of your tractor says that with little work on most any subframe hoe could easily be adapted to your tractor. I'd stay at nine foot for a maximum reach although with a loader on the front you might be able to run a little more. Curtis, Sims, Laurin and most all major cab companies have long ago discontinued building cabs for that vintage of a tractor. I don't believe that they had a factory cab for that tractor but the might have but you might be able to find a wind breaker at TSC and many dealers have access to them. ....
