I hava a JD4200 SST tractor. I was wondering why does it pop out of gear when it's being used under a load? Sometimes it takes a couple a tries to get it in gear also. Any help would be appreciated.

If the linkage isn't the problem then it is a sign that that gear needs to be replaced. We have seen it in many farm tractors that often the most used gear gets worn and will need to be replaced. ....
