a 1989 jd 755 w/ 1500 hrs. mid mt mower and fel or a 1997 jd 770 w/400 hrs and just a mid mt mower?

I can buy both machines for the same price. If I bought the 770 I would inst. a fel. because I need one for odd jobs on my property. That would cost me an additional 2-3 thousand dollars. Where as the 755 has eveything on it already. I guess my question is -- is it smarter to spend the extra money to inst the fel or just purchase the 755? which is a hydro. ....

Semp, click the link below and look at the spec's of both tractors, I think you'll find the 770 to be the better deal more tractor. The 755 is more of an over-sized lawn mower.

Thanks David - I took your advice and checked all specs - and then I really went all out. I bought a new 790. I'm sure I'll be happy with it. Can't beat new.
