I know this is a JD forum but I am hoping for a little honesty here. I have a lead on a great deal on a 7265 Cub Cadet. Anyone know about them or should I go for the 790 JD?

That model cadet tractor is not an economy tractor like the 790. If they where both the same price there would only be one choice. ....

I'm not sure I understand Art's post. I can get the cubcadet with a loader for the same price as a 790 with a loader.

The Cadet is a full featured tractor. The proper model to compare it to would be the 4200 JD series. I didn't mean to confuse you. But when doing comparing it is best to compare apples to oranges. ....
