I just got a price from a local dealer for A JD 4110..HST, 410 loader 49" bucket...60" belly mower...ballast box and the fold down ROPS...dscv....17,200 does sound in line....any feedback is much welcomed...this will be my first compact....

That sounds like a good deal. Maybe you could get the 61" bucket. I have a JD 4100 with a 60" mid mount mower, 61" FEL and a ballast box for 17,600. It is the hst and it is so great and strong. It is a little light have you looked at the 4115 it should be a little more but it may be worth it in the long run depending on what you may want to do with it. Good luck on your decesion.

Just ordered one this week. I have the same setup as you described except that I getting the 61" bucket. The dealer quoted me 16,600 and then we applied the 1200 discount big JD is offering. The total then (not including tax) is 15,400.

Be sure you ask about the big JD incentives. You can find them on the JD website. ....
