I have been looking into buying a JD4200 vs a Kubota 3710. There are so many tradeoffs. Both have the power shuttles, comparable hp,loaders, size. I like the idea of the powershift tranny(gst) over the standard tranny. I like the fact that the JD hydrualic remotes stay on the tractor when the loader comes off. You lose the joystick when the kubota loader comes off. The prices are similar. The warranty is better on the Kubota (3year) compared to the JD (2yr). However the price increases if you want remotes for the kubota. The JD price was around $21,305 +tax The kubota is around $21,200 w/dual remotes.
