I need info on 3 pt hitch log splitter before I buy. Sources, owner comments and experiences would be much appriciated. I have just ordered a JD 4300 HST. I can't seem to find much, Northern and who else???

i have two friends that own log splittesthat run off of tractor/bobcat hydraulics,both purchased at quality farm and fleet,they are five years old, no problems, good units, both of these folks heat with wood. ....
