A friend would like to know the horsepower of a Deere 670. Also, if you know, with what Deere model would it be comparable with today? He is thinking of buying one (8-10 years old) with 300 hours and garage kept.

This info is right out of the John Deere Catalogs. A JD 670 has 19.3 Gross HP 18.5 Net Engine HP and 16 PTO HP. A comparable new JD is the 4100 with 20 Gross HP, 17 PTO (Gear) 16 PTO (HST). A good place to view John Deere tractors is www.deere.com, Hope this helps. ....
